In this world 
so full of sin and darkness of the soul,
the Lord gave me 
the light of peace and comfort.
I was caught up in destruction 
but the Lord gave me hope
I was foolish, 
but He made me wise 
with the wisdom to be whole.
He let me call "Abba, Father". 
I'm His child. He's my heavenly Father.

We've been changed 
by the hope and the power 
the Lord has given us.
The word of life from the shepherd 
has changed our lives.
Now we can be the children 
who please the Father God.
As the precious fruit of the shepherd, 
we're the fruit of His love, too.
Then He lets us call Him "Abba, Father" 
as His child. He's our heavenly Father.

There's a gift we hold precious and true. 
It is the name of Jesus Christ.
With the fire like power of the Holy Spirit's fire, 
we have hope for New Jerusalem.

Yes! Let us rise up. There is no turning back. 
For the Father, work without hesitation.
We have the Father's promise 
and the Word that is the truth. 
Let's be one who gives Him our heart.

On this earth souls are dying 
without being shown the way.
Let us rise up and share the light 
that's been shared with us,
the light that leads from destruction 
and fills us with hope.
We can cast off all life's foolish things, 
and gain wisdom for the soul.
Now we call out "Abba, Abba Father" 
as His child. He's our heavenly Father.
The other gift that's precious to us, 
His name is the Helper the Holy Spirit.
To march on toward perfect faith 
and pray for men's lost souls,
they're the gifts that He's given to us.
