  Benchmarking is comparing one¡¯s specific business and management criteria to industry¡¯s best practices gathered from other companies and applying them to one¡¯s own business. In sports and arts, by modeling some exemplary players and artists and practicing hard, we may be able to master more skills that they do and achieve a high level of performance. The same can apply to life and personality. If you want to have virtuous generosity and great love, you can do so by paying attention to your role model¡¯s words and deeds and by trying to follow his example. Then, you will be able to renew your heart as well (1 Corinthians 11:1).
